Welllllllll I’m planning to launch my business…but first I need to have a logo made, get on Facebook, write my elevator speech, print business cards and brochures, start using Twitter – oh, and and Instagram, set up a table at the health expo, build my website (should I use WordPress??)…and I have to figure out my target market!

Starting a business can be intimidating. There is money to be made in the health and wellness industry. In order to have a business, you need to be making money. If you’re not making money (or at least trying to), it’s not a business (it’s a hobby). My goal with this blog is to help you to not become overwhelmed and stuck in rabbit holes before you get started making money.
What is it that you want? Why do you want what it is that you want? We have the how, you focus on the why. If you don't know your why you can become scattered very easily and you will miss your sweet flow. WHAT IS YOUR WHY? IS IT STRONG ENOUGH TO USHER YOU INTO YOUR DESTINY? WHAT IF YOUR WHY CHANGES? CAN YOU MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT?

​Marketing your wellness business is based on building relationships. When you hand someone a small card with your contact information printed on it…are you building a relationship with that person?
Nope.
Here’s what I do instead.
Let’s say I meet someone who would be an ideal client or business contact. Instead of handing them a card, I do something wild and outlandish:
I have a conversation with them.
If they inquire, I tell them about my health coaching business. But mostly, I ask questions. I become genuinely interested in who they are. I ask for their email address and then follow up with something related to our conversation. NOT a sales pitch.
Stay with me here. The good part is coming.
9 times out of 10, the person I’m emailing clicks on that link, reads my website and replies telling me they already tried one of my recipes and loved it.
This is how real relationships – and successful marketing – happens.
Once that person opens the conversation about my health coaching business they are much more receptive to a suggestion like, “Why don’t I put you on my mailing list?” or “I have a free event next week, you should come.”
Try warming up a new lead like THAT with a business card. Psh.

You can have all the boxes checked (bank account, LLC, etc.) but if you don’t get out there and do the work…you don’t have a business. You just have a really formal hobby.
This is the way that i built my business. Two by two. I helped two families to open there businesses as we just described and they followed my lead by becoming teachable to duplicate my results. Just remember, Know why you are operating your business and how you operate your business will be taught to you by successful
 entrepreneurs who have done what it is that you are getting ready to do.

Can CBD Really Help With Insomnia?In this modern hectic world, many people suffer from insomnia and are heading to the cabinet not for medication – but for a little-known natural product named CBD (short for cannabidiol).

Malnutrition Causes Obesity

Americans are overfed and undernourished. That’s right, the most obese children and adults in the country are also the most nutritionally deficient! The mistake is to think that if you eat an abundance of calories, your diet automatically delivers all the nutrients your body needs. But the opposite is true. The more processed food you eat, the more vitamins you need. That’s because vitamins and minerals lubricate the wheels of our metabolism, helping the chemical reactions in our bodies run properly. Among those biochemical processes greased by nutrients is the regulation of sugar and burning of fat.

The problem is that the standard American diet (SAD) is energy dense (too many calories) but nutrient poor (not enough vitamins and minerals.) Too many “empty calories” confuse the metabolism and pack on the pounds. Upwards of 30 percent of American diets fall short of such common plant-derived nutrients as magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin A.(2) More than 80 percent of Americans are running low on vitamin D.(3)  And 9 out of 10 people are deficient in omega-3 fats, which are critical for staving off inflammation and controlling blood sugar levels.

Processed foods, stuffed with high fructose corn syrup, refined flours, and trans fats–are a modern phenomenon. These foods crowd out more nutrient-dense foods because they are inexpensive and convenient. Plus, the meats and fish eaten by hunter-gatherers were almost always fresh. Most store bought meat today are laced with chemicals, such as nitrates, used to process and preserve. Industrial farming is depleting the nutrients in the country’s farmland. As a result, most vegetables harvested today have fewer nutrients than those plucked from the ground just two generations ago.


One of the largest and most compelling studies on this topic was published in 2004 in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition. Using data from the USDA’s archives, a team of scientists looked at the nutrient content of 43 fruits and vegetables—everything from rutabaga to honeydew—grown in 1950 and compared them to the identical fruits and veggies grown in 1999.
Their findings were disturbing. Levels of calcium were down 16 percent, iron 15 percent, and vitamin C 20 percent.(5) Not a single nutrient had increased in the past 50 years!
Because those foods contain fewer nutrients, the servings we do eat don’t deliver as much nutrition as they once did. Fewer nutrients means lowered immunity and increased vulnerability to chronic disease and obesity. When your body doesn’t get the right nutrition, it just keeps asking for more food. The endless cycle of craving is a Catch-22; people are eating more, getting fatter, but still not feeling satisfied—it’s a nightmare from which they can’t escape.



Three Ways to Grab More Nutrient-Rich Calories
  • Eat more plant-based foods: Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, and whole grains are the foundation of a lifelong “ultraprevention” diet. They are high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds, fiber, and essential fatty acids. These foundation foods also eliminate the many triggers of chronic illness, such as saturated fat, trans-fat, sugar, and toxic food additives.
  • Prioritize healthy plant-based fats: The best way to eat most of your fat is in the form of extra-virgin olive oil, flax, nuts, and seeds with minimal amounts of properly processed (expeller-pressed) vegetable oils. Avoid oils that do not state the method of extraction or have a bitter aftertaste or rancid flavor.

​ More and more each day we are faced with the facts that people are incarcerated at an alarming rate to include the actually innocent in order to keep the jails and prisons full. In NC your race more times than not determines whether you are declared innocent of charges when evidence of your actual innocence is staring the powers that be smack in the middle of their face. Keep pushing. Keep fighting. Make so much noise until your screams drown out the selfish low volumed squeals of the keepers of injustice who for the sake of being embarrassed when found out refuses to tell the truth.

The key to abundance is giving love. The more we give we get so much more in return. That's why you are blessed. You give so much. God multiples what you give and he returns so much more to you. Your dream is nothing in comparison to what you have given and God's multiplication table is setting you up for so much more. Don't doubt. Hold on. The test of your faith is expectancy. Expect your blessings as if you have them already. The way you attract your expected blessings is to talk as if you already have them. When you talk as if you have already what you were looking for, you become a magnet for the expected blessings and the next thing you know is that you are no longer operating in faith, your blessings are walking with you. Faith says you have already what you ask for. Then God gives it to you from his multiplication table. Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, the keys to abundance, give love...

You already have what you need. God has getting it to you because you did your part. YOU GAVE LOVE _ THE KEYS TO ABUNDANCE. THE MORE YOU GIVE, THE MORE YOU RECEIVE-MUCH MORE THAN YOU GAVE.
