Adjust Your ExpectationsFor all times Ephesians 3:20 has been one of my most favorite verses in the bible. God is about to exceed your expectations. Once I have attained the height of my expectations and I can't think of anything better, God still exceeds my expeactations even when fear attacks and it tells me that I am not worthy of all of this attention from the Holy one. I quickly remind the originator of fear that I am a child of the most high God and he is desireing his best for me. A best that I could never imagine on my on. This is wh I love this verse. God always exceeds my expectations even when I mess up things, he comes along and encourages me to greatness.
One thing that I constantly remind myself of is that God has placed his purpose within me at the time of me being thought of and that purpose has to be birthed just like I was born into this world. My purpose must be developed and god is the dark room. No person knows my purpose except God and me. Need I say more? There is no need to seek advice from the apple farmer when I am planting strawberries. Eagles do not take flight lessons from pigeons.
God will always exceed your expectations, so raise them. Your brokenness is NOT fatal or final. God has a future for you, so don’t be afraid to hope and expect again after a setback. The setback is not who you are, it is only an opportunity to cry for help to a God who is more than enough to help you through the issues that you cannot control by yourself. Let God pull you through. Through prayer and suplications, give your case to God and he will exceed your expectations. Not only will you be raised above the circumstances, you will be ushered into an arena of more than enough.
Realize Your Attitude Determines The Atmosphere. An attitude of expectation causes the atmosphere to shift in powerful ways. When you respond to our circumstances with a hopeful and expectant attitude, they will change for the better, no matter what you’re going through.
Respond With Mega Faith. Big faith moves God. Get your hopes up and raise your faith. The more faith you have in God’s power, the higher your expectation gets. “And without faith it is impossible to please God…” – Hebrews 1:6... Stop feeling like you are not good enough. You are his and he is yours. Let his love for you take you to heights that you had never planned to attain.
Say It Out Loud. Your words have power, use them to declare what you are expecting! When your declaration matches your expectation, big things happen. “And Jesus answered them, ‘Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be taken up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him’” – Matthew 11:22-23
What are you expecting in life? There’s a good chance you’re going to get it. In other words, you often get whatever you expect out of life. Please know that God is still able to deliver you from low expectations. And that begins when you ask Him to help you start believing for something better in your life. The Word tells us that God is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
God will never let you down. Regardless of what you have or are currently going through, when you expect the best, God delivers exceedingly better.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us… – Ephesians 3:20
